Short hand- Even besides the abject horniness that the game provides, that is very well executed, there are stories that I as a person feel very connected to and that are expertly written, and that I would pay infinite money to make sure things like this can exist.
Much Longer Hand- I am an autistic trans woman and I feel like this game was made for me. I'm not super connected to the NSFW elements, though I can appreciate the work that goes into them, they're mostly supremely well written and even funny a lot of the time, and I wouldn't argue for their removal(NSFW art is art and deserves a place in the world), but my main driving love for this game exists in the moments where HC gets to explore how it feels to be a droid, how she struggles with the same things I struggle, her loneliness feeling like she's the only person like her, her dysphoria, and above all else how she still chooses to love her friends even if they might never understand her. I don't know if HC was written with autism in mind but damn, I feel represented in a way that I never get to be. Technically you can get all this from the story without ever encountering a scene where you have to have sex with a character but if I'm being honest I don't think you should avoid them. They add so much to HC's character, and flesh out many more. Even when it doesn't add anything to the story, they're all well written. 10/10 game I think it achieves every goal it sets out to achieve and is firing on all cylinders while it does.

That said, you can try launching it in Winlator or another windows emulator. I got it to launch and start the game, but just know these are very experimental.

The only downside is lack of controls and control customisations (keyboard: button to hide text and show characters, world navigational buttons, etc.) Other than that, minor hiccups due to early access, but I'll keep my Patreon sponsorship and wait for full release (again, first time I actually paid for pron-game).
On linux, I get 'no manager for installer unknown - no mapping for file extension ().' It looks like the issue is the Linux builds not having a file extension. are they a zip? tar? appimage? normal executable?
Is this game still ironically transphobic and sexist? I recall trying it back in the day, and was a bit shocked at how strict it was with enforcing genital roles, and the complete lack of trans men. I recall how it enforced complete penis supremacy.
Like, ONLY characters with a penis were allowed to be dominant, imposing or be pleasured. And there were state mandated penis pleasuring servants roaming around. But, anyone with a vulva was basically second class citizen subjugated to be submissive, pathetic and to pleasure penises.
You can run into plenty of cis men and "trans" women that are completely selfish buttholes, and proudly swing their oversized penises around. And then the game has less than 4 % lesbian content, doesn't have a single interactive animated lesbian scene, (nor a planned ending scene if you complete it the "boring" way and find your gf) and the game is primarily about how to drug and rape lesbians, in order to "cure" them into being straight. In which the creators have openly mocked and spoke about how much they hate lesbians, and just want to spite them.
BUT: This game similarly is all "Look at all the GIRLS of this game! GIRL POWER, WOOO!", and then proceeds to explain in detail how women are inferior, second class citizens, and how ONLY men have access to rights in this world they built. And assures the player that they are a WOMAN... and then goes into detail how women CANNOT do what the player and "other men" do, because: They don't have a penis. And if you don't have a dick: You're a woman, and therefore can't do certain things. Since ONLY men are superior and have more rights than women.
And as said: It goes out of its way, to include scenes where you can have sex with men, women and trans women. ONLY excluding trans men, because: Fuck em. And: It includes watersports.
